Our Hypothesis

If current human activities such as overfishing continue to apply strong selective pressures on Pacific salmon, then salmon populations will continue to evolve toward smaller body sizes and earlier migration/spawning times, which may reduce their reproductive success and increase their risk of population decline or local extinction.
