Our Suggestion
The simulation showed that fishing boats catch mostly large Pacific salmon (red dots), leaving mostly smaller salmon (pink dots) over time. This is harmful because smaller salmon lay fewer eggs. To help, fishing rules should protect big salmon by setting size limits and no-fishing zones, letting the population stay healthy as the simulation suggests.
